Take Advantage of the Rain: Use a Rain Barrel to Stock up for the Dry Season   

Charlotte, NC – While it may seem like the rain just won't stop, rest assured it won't stay wet forever.  That's why now is the perfect time to stockpile water for the dry season.  Mecklenburg Soil and Water Conservation District and Charlotte Storm Water Services are offering a variety of rain barrels for sale at a reduced price.

Three sizes are offered:
·  55-gallon for $60
·  65-gallon for $85
·  110-gallon for $110

The last day to order is July 11, 2003.  Pick-up is Saturday, July 19, from 9 a.m. – noon at the Hal Marshall County Services Center, 700 North Tryon Street in Charlotte.
