Mallard Creek Greenway Community Workshop

Charlotte, NC – The Northeast Citizen’s Advisory Council’s regular meeting will be held on June 24, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. at Reedy Creek Park Shelter Three.  It will include a community workshop on the Mallard Creek Greenway. The Greenway Advisory Council will join the Northeast Advisory Council for this portion of the meeting. The meeting will allow community members to address the development of Mallard Creek Greenway as a timed item, scheduled for 6:45 p.m.

Mallard Creek is one of the more than 25 creeks that are proposed for Greenways in Mecklenburg County. The greenway master plan calls for a total of 250 miles of trails. Community workshops will be conducted for each creek area as they are funded.
