DEVELOPERS & PUBLIC INVITED TO OPEN HOUSE FOR LUESA NORTH
New Office Provides Land Use and Environmental Services To Northern Communities

Charlotte, NC - LUESA North is open and builders, contractors, developers, and the general public are invited to celebrate. Mecklenburg County's Land Use and Environmental Services Agency will hold an open house at its new northern office in Cornelius.

Northern Mecklenburg County is one of the fastest growing areas in our region, with 20 percent of all construction activity in the County taking place there. LUESA North was opened to provide services tailored to customers in this area. The phone number is 704-432-2520.

LUESA North provides a wide variety of services for residents, business owners, developers and contractors, including:

· Land Development Plan Review and Inspection
· Residential Building Permits and Plan Review
· Residential Technical Answer Center
· Zoning Permits and Inspections
· Water Quality and Erosion Control Inspections
· Housing Code Compliance

Mecklenburg County's Land Use and Environmental Services Agency provides services aimed at contributing to the quality of life in Mecklenburg County.  That is achieved by increasing collaboration between the environmental sector and the business community and encouraging them to work together to develop guidelines for air, water and land quality.
