Charlotte, NC - The Mecklenburg Soil and Water Conservation District is beginning program planning for FY2005 and the public is invited to comment.

A public meeting will be held:

Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004
6 p.m.
Hal Marshall County Services Center
700 North Tryon Street, Charlotte

Citizens are invited to comment on conditions and trends of natural resources and the environment, conservation practices for priority assistance, issues of specific environmental concern, educational and training needs, and the need for new and innovative conservation practices.
