Domestic Violence "Lunch & Learn" set for December 7
Charlotte - The Domestic Violence Advocacy Council (DVAC), will conduct another "Lunch & Learn" program with a workshop titled "Teen Dating Violence."

Free parking for these sessions is available at the Radcliffe-On-The-Green parking garage on
South Tryon Street. A free trolley runs the length of
Tryon Streetevery seven minutes, as well. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunch.
The presenter for this session will be Teen Dating Violence Program Specialist, Dwa'lla Thomas. Some of the issues to be covered include signs of a healthy relationship and warning signs of dating violence.
The free monthly seminars are open to the public and are held on the first Tuesday of each month. Representatives from local help agencies serve as presenters. The DVAC will continue to organize these workshops as an ongoing effort to broaden the public's awareness of the issues surrounding domestic violence.
This Domestic Violence Lunch & Learn series is organized by the Domestic Violence Advocacy Council, which includes the Mecklenburg County Women's Commission, Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department and other businesses and civic groups.
