Charlotte, NC - The Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department invites interested citizens to a variety of community workshops on several sections of greenway:
- Torrence Creek and Lower McDowell Creek Greenways, July 27 at 7 p.m. at the Huntersville Town Hall, 101 Huntersville-Concord Road. When finished, these new sections combined with the existing Torrence Creek Greenway will run about 5 miles. For more information, call 704-353-0504
- McDowell Creek Greenway and stream restoration project, August 14 at 7 p.m. at Waterfront Hall in Jetton Park, 1900 Jetton Road, Cornelius. The new stretch of McDowell Creek Greenway will run about 1.5 miles from Westmoreland Road in Cornelius to Sam Furr Road in Huntersville.
