PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS: MECKLENBURG COUNTY HOSTS PUBLIC FORUMS ON CHANGES

Charlotte, NC – Mecklenburg County Code Enforcement is hosting a two public question-and-answer sessions on upcoming changes to the County's permitting and inspections system.

- Tuesday, June 6, 2006
- 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
- Hal Marshall County Services Center, 700 North Tryon Street, Charlotte
- Auditoriums 1 and 2

The permitting and inspections system is being updated to reflect new policies and fees related to Certificates of Compliance, Certificates of Occupancy, and Temporary Certificates of Occupancy. There are also new policies governing Limited Condition Power, Restaurant Gas Hood Test, and Commercial Master Plan.

The full amendments to the Mecklenburg County fee ordinance and Building Development ordinance are attached.
