FIT CITY WORKING WELL CHALLENGE: CREATE A HEALTHIER WORKSITE!
Charlotte, NC – The Mecklenburg County Health Department’s Fit City Worksite Wellness Program encourages all residents of Mecklenburg County to make their worksite a healthier place by joining the Fit City Working Well Challenge.
The Fit City Working Well Challenge kicks off January 15 and runs through April 15.
Here’s how it works:
Those who enter are asked to complete at least 10 of 18 separate activities to qualify for the drawing. These activities could include joining or forming a worksite wellness committee, asking an employer to implement a healthy food policy for company-sponsored meetings, or providing copies of healthy recipes for co-workers.
Participants can win one of many great prizes including:
· A charter membership to Discovery Place
· Lunch for 10 at Crisp Seventh Street Cafe
· Family pass for a year to Ray’s Splash Planet
· A two-person tent from REI
