SANTA VACATIONS FROM NORTH POLE TO SWIM WITH CHILDREN
AT RAY’S SPLASH PLANET DEC. 16; MEDIA INVITED TO SWIM, TOO!

Charlotte, NC--  Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation invites children to “Swim with Santa!” Tuesday evening, December 16, 5:30pm to 7pm, at Ray’s Splash Planet, 215 North Sycamore Street.  (Media are invited as special guests, too!)

Swim with Santa has become a popular annual event where Santa, in his real white beard and red long underwear (suitably modest, of course), goes swimming with children in the Splash Planet pool. He even promises to take a ride down Splash Planet’s three story Blue Comet water slide and to float down the lazy river with the children.

Youngsters have heard of Santa sleighing through winter ice and snow, but did you know he also takes a brief vacation from making toys in his workshop at the North Pole and comes to Ray’s Splash Planet? Ho Ho Ho!

Cost to attend this event is $10 for each child, which includes a photo with Santa and the chance to participate in the fun swimming session. This event is suitable for youngsters ages 2-13.
