The Arbor Glen Outreach Center, 1520 Clanton Road, will have a Senior Wellness and Safety Fair on Oct. 20, 2010, from 11a.m. – 2 p.m. The event will promote safety awareness, programs and activities, and healthy medical tips for senior citizens in Mecklenburg County. 

Vendors present at the fair will include:
• The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and the Charlotte Fire Department providing safety tips,
• Helen Ruth “HR” Harwell Law Firm offering free legal information,
• C.W. Williams Community Health Center offering free health screenings,
• Charlotte Senior Center providing information about Medicaid.
