BOCC Training
The Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners met in special session on Tuesday, December 21 to attend Ethics Training for Local Officials. The Board viewed the training online as offered by the North Carolina School of Government. In 2009 the North Carolina General Assembly passed legislation that requires local governing boards to adopt a code of ethics and requires board members to receive ethics training. The Board is required to answer questions during seminar and also required to verify attendance electronically in order to get credit for the training.
