Flu Shots Now
Get a Flu Shot Now: Why Wait?
Flu shots got an early start this year. But if you haven't gotten yours, now's the time to get serious and get vaccinated before you get sick.

Influenza season usually runs from about mid-October through early April. Although no major flu cases have been reported yet in Mecklenburg County, they will come. And the best way to protect yourself, and those around you, is to get a flu shot.

You can get one at your provider’s office, your local drug or grocery store, or the Mecklenburg County Health Department.

Call and make an appointment at 704-336-6500.

It doesn't matter where you get a flu shot this year, just make sure you get it!

All residents over the age of six months are recommended to get a flu shot this year.
