The trip will depart by van from the Nature Center, 6211 Sample Road, at 7 a.m. and return at 6 p.m. Ages 12 and up are welcome. Cost is $10 per person.

Hikers will have the chance to enjoy the beautiful mountains of North Carolina as they take in the scenery along the Erwins View Trail, Chimney Rock trail, and the breathtaking view at the Linville Gorge overlook.
