Sen. Hagan at Little Sugar Creek Community Garden
9/25/2010
Sen. Kay Hagan (D-NC) visited Little Sugar Creek Community Garden Sept. 24. E. Nadine Ford, senior environmental specialist with the Solid Waste Division of the Land Use and Environmental Services Agency (LUESA), showed her around.

Scotts Miracle-Gro and Mecklenburg County have worked to establish and maintain the garden as part of a national outreach project to provide a free, local source of fresh fruits and vegetables for people in need.
