DEADLINE FOR APPEALING REVALUATION
EXTENDED TO MONDAY
Charlotte, NC - Over the weekend of March 5-6, Mecklenburg County computer servers providing access to property information were out of service for an extended period. Some property owners were unable to gather information they felt was relevant in appealing their assessments as part of the January 1, 2011 revaluation.
Tax Assessor Garrett Alexander today changed the deadline to appeal their new values from March 10 to Monday, March 14 to provide additional time for citizens to complete their research and submit appeals.
