                 Note: The Library will be closed to the public that day. A security officer located at the Library’s Sixth Street entrance will provide access for people attending the meeting.

 
WHO:        Main Library Committee members, Library staff, County staff
                 
WHY:         One of the recommendations of the Future of the Library Task Force, detailed in their report found here http://bit.ly/uiBUnP, was to form a committee to study the use of the Main Library.
  The Main Library Committee, a group of seven citizens, was jointly appointed by Mecklenburg County Manager Harry L. Jones, Sr. and Library CEO Vick Phillips. Information about the committee, its members, and its meetings will be posted online at www.cmlibrary.org/maincommittee.
