WHO: Department of Social Services staff, Foresight Leadership, Inc. staff Charlotte-Mecklenburg Parent University staff, Youth and Family Services and Community foster care provider agencies, children and parents. Community resources agencies.

  
WHY: The Mecklenburg County Department of Social Services, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, and its partner agencies will host foster parents and their families, or people interested in becoming foster parents, at the DSS Education Summit 2011. This interactive, fun Saturday event combines educational activities for kids (K-12) along with educational sessions for foster parents and would-be foster parents.
