The ARC is chaired by District 4 Commissioner Dumont Clarke and is made up of District 3 Commissioner George Dunlap, District 1 Commissioner Karen Bentley, and District 6 Commissioner Bill James.
The outside auditing firm issued an unqualified, "clean" opinion, which is the highest rating that can be achieved for an annual outside audit. The ARC received the report from the auditing firm and accepted it as presented.
Mike Taylor, director of Services for Adults for the Department of Social Services, presented a report about alleged fraud within the Medicaid Transportation Unit of DSS. The presentation showed that no fraud or improper use of Medicaid transportation was found at DSS. The full presentation is available here:
