Appeals received or postmarked after 11:59 p.m. June 4, 2012 will be considered untimely and will be not be accepted except in extreme cases where unusual circumstances prevented the property owner from filing on time.
Owners appealing for 2012 should understand that the backlog from 2011 will delay the consideration of these new appeals while the older appeals are still in process. The Assessor’s Office will begin sending receipts for appeals submitted for 2012 in the next few weeks.
