The process to recruit a new LUESA Director is under way. In addition to posting the job internally, it has been posted on local, regional and national posting websites. The goal is to name a new Director before the end of November.
The LUESA Director is responsible for leading a very complex and diversified organization. This involves planning, directing and coordinating services affecting public health and safety in the built and natural environment, with emphasis on environmental stewardship, regulatory compliance and superior customer service. The LUESA Director oversees the management of more than 450 employees with an annual operating budget of $63 million.
