The information was originally included in a postcard mailing last week. A programming error printed the cards with information that was incorrect. The company has worked closely with the Assessor’s Office to resend the appeal notifications, and has included an explanation of the problem mailing.
County Assessor Garrett Alexander says, “Cash Cycle Solutions has served the Assessor’s Office since 2008, providing printing/mailing services after the County retired its large mainframe computers. Over that period, they have processed hundreds of thousands of different documents, including the 2011 revaluation mailing, with accuracy and quality service. They are dedicated to serving the Assessor’s Office and the citizens of Mecklenburg County well, and regret the error.”
