Yi told the Board that the rising cost of fuel would likely increase dramatically during FY12. Current projections show the county's cost for gasoline and other fuels would increase anywhere from one half to one million dollars for the period.
Yi also provided an employment update showing unemployment down slightly with a slight increase in people working. He indicated that there are signs of a slow recovery.
