They are among the smallest birds in the world and on Aug. 23, you will be able to get a close-up view of the tiny creatures at Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation’s annual Hummingbird Festival.
The free event will take place at Reedy Creek Nature Center, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine.
