Help The County With Revaluation Refunds By Updating Your Property Information
4/28/2014
Help us get your 2011 Reappraisal Revaluation refund to you more efficiently by updating your property information.

If you:

• Owned property in Mecklenburg County between January 1, 2010 and January 1, 2013 or

• If you are the heir of someone who is deceased who owned property in Mecklenburg County between January 1, 2010 and January 1, 2013 and the property has been sold.

Contact Mecklenburg County Land Records at 704-336-6357 or email Rhonda Buckner to provide your current mailing address.

At their regularly scheduled meeting each second Tuesday, the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners makes recommended changes on property abstracts and tax records as a result of the revaluation review.

After the Board approves changes, Mecklenburg County and municipalities send out revised notices of value and refund checks as appropriate.

Here is more information about the 2011 property revaluation.
