Keep Mecklenburg Beautiful provided resources for volunteers all over the County to pick up litter in neighborhoods and roads.In the end, more than 485,000 pounds of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) water bottles were recycled.

Keep Mecklenburg Beautiful promoted the project with banners at all County recycling centers and with a large banner on the 4th Street parking deck in Charlotte.
