Keep Winston-Salem Beautiful donated the flower bulbs to its Mecklenburg County affiliate – Keep Mecklenburg Beautiful – for beautification projects associated with the Great American cleanup, March 1 – May 31. In addition, many of the flowers will be used for educational purposes throughout the schools.

“This is the fourth year that we have received such a wonderful donation,” said Jake Wilson, executive director, Keep Mecklenburg Beautiful. “These flowers are a tremendous asset in our beautification efforts of Mecklenburg County.”
