Note: The Library will be closed to the public that day. A security officer located at the Sixth Street entrance to the Library will provide access for people attending the meeting.

One of the recommendations of the Future of the Library Task Force, detailed in their report found here http://bit.ly/uiBUnP, was to form a committee to study the use of the Main Library.

The Main Library Committee, a group of seven citizens, was jointly appointed by Mecklenburg County Manager Harry L. Jones Sr. and Library CEO Vick Phillips. Information about the committee, its members, and its meetings will be posted online at www.cmlibrary.org/maincommittee.
