The Board has a packed agenda for the three-day conference that includes setting its priorities, a facilitated discussion about how to work effectively together, reviewing the operating budget process, and a briefing on Capital Projects and planning. One highlight of the event each year is an economic briefing by top local economists. This year John Connaughton of UNC-Charlotte and Michael Brown of Wells Fargo will conduct the briefing.
