State Urges Residents To Protect Themselves From the Flu

Although North Carolina is above the national average for flu vaccine coverage, less than half of all North Carolinians got their vaccines last flu season. Your Mecklenburg County Health Department is ready and is now accepting appointments and walk-ins for flu shots.

Board of Elections Announces Early Voting Dates and Locations

Early voting will kick-off on Thursday, Oct. 18 at the Hal Marshall Annex and 21 other locat​ions throughout the County. Early voting will conclude on Saturday, Nov. 3.

October is nationally known as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Communities across the country will hold events to honor the memory of those who lost their lives at the hands of their abusers. RECOVERY! Alumni Celebrate Milestones in Sobriety

The Mecklenburg County Provided Services Organization held its 1st Annual Alumni RECOVERY Celebration on Sept. 28, 2012 at the Substance Abuse Services Center on Billingsley Road. Registration is Now Open for Park and Rec Youth Basketball
