Public Hearing Set for County's FY13 Recommended Budget

The Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. on May 24 to receive input on County Manager Jones' FY13 recommended budget.

Commissioners will vote whether to approve the proposed $1.4 billion budget on June 5.

County Announces Closings for Memorial Day Holiday

Mecklenburg County government offices and agencies will be closed on Monday, May 28, 2012 for the Memorial Day holiday.

Park and Rec Named a Finalist for the National Gold Medal Award for the Third Consecutive Year

The award is presented annually by the American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration and the National Recreation and Park Association to honor excellence in management and planning of parks and recreation agencies.
