Welcome to the Marion Diehl Pool! The Marion Diehl Recreation Center opened its doors to the citizens of Charlotte in 1980. It is named in honor of Mr. F. Marion Diehl who served as the Director of Charlotte Parks and recreation Department for many years. The center provides year round recreational programs for persons with or without disabilities. The Marion Diehl Pool will be closed on Monday, April 1st for minor pool repairs. The Pool will reopen Tuesday, April 2nd.
This center features a 25-meter by 6-lane warm pool (approx. 88 degrees), beach entry to a 2.5 foot wading pool and locker rooms. We offer a variety of programs and classes including swim team, water fitness, swim lessons and specialized instruction for adults and children with physical disabilities!
