Charlotte, NC – Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department hosts the Teen Charlotte Talent Show for young people, ages 13 –18, on Saturday, May 30, 2009, 2pm-4pm at West Charlotte Recreation Center, 2400 Kendall Drive. Admission for spectators is $3 at the door, FREE for children ages five and younger.
This is a great chance for teens to build self-esteem and social skills by showcasing their talents in the categories of singing, dancing, or stepping. Teen performers will be allotted five minutes for each performance, with music accompaniment on cued CD’s if appropriate. A panel of judges will select winners. Trophies will be awarded for first, second, and third places. There will be door prizes and other entertainment.
