Charlotte, NC-- The National Wildlife Federation and the Junior Master Gardeners of Mecklenburg County have joined together to offer six courses to teach children ages 8 and up about wildlife habitats through community service.  The courses will allow participants to become certified wildlife gardeners, and are offered at Reedy Creek Nature Center, 2900 Rocky River Road.  Space is limited, so register now.
Classes are at 3:30pm-5:30pm on:

• September 1
• October 6
• November 3
• December 1
• January 5
• February 2. 

The program costs $30.  This is a great way for children to earn community service learning hours for service clubs and school. To register call Reedy Creek nature center at 704 598-8857.
