Charlotte, NC – Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department and 4-H Clubs present an out-of-school-day ski/snowboarding trip, January 25, 2010, 6am-8pm, to Appalachian Ski Mountain, NC. The trip is for youth and teens, ages 11-16, and travel is by van or bus from Methodist Home Recreation Center and Southview Recreation Center.
This trip offers many youth and teens a new and exciting experience! So wear warm clothes and enjoy a great day of cruising the slopes.
Cost is $38 to ski, $44 to snowboard, plus $25 to rent ski/snowboard gear if needed. Fees include: transportation by van, lift ticket, equipment (skis/boots/poles or snowboard/boots), plus a one hour lesson. Meals/snacks are not included.
Pick-up and drop-off will be at both Methodist Home Recreation Center, 3200 Shamrock Drive and Southview Recreation Center, 1720 Vilma Street. Deadline to register is January 1. Space is limited, so sigh-up today!
