PITCH, HIT & RUN BASEBALL COMPETITION FOR YOUTH AT FREEDOM PARK APRIL 11

March 12, 2009

Charlotte, NC-- Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department invites youngsters, ages 7-14, to compete in the Aquafina Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit, & Run competition for boys and girls. Competition is Saturday, April 11, 2009, 10am-12Noon at Freedom Park, 1900 East Blvd. Youth showcase their skills pitching, hitting, and running.

Winners in each skill and various age groups go on to compete at higher levels. This competition encourages participation and emphasizes the fun aspects of baseball!  There is no cost to compete. Enter for FREE. 

Pre-register if possible by April 8 or on day of event. Fill out the official entry, rules, and waiver form or visit Tom Sykes Recreation Center, 1501 Euclid Avenue where forms must also be submitted. Proof of age required.
