Charlotte, NC – Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation hosts the annual Spring Break Excel Camp April 6-9, 2009, 8:30am-5pm at West Charlotte Recreation Center 2401 Kendall Drive. This is for youngsters, ages 10-14, during days off from Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools.

The camp includes many recreational activities which include swimming at Ray’s Splash Planet, team games and sports, tour of Wingate University campus, literacy and computer time, skating, bowling, a trip to Reedy Creek Park/Nature Preserve, and more.

Cost is $30 per person, which includes all trips. Participants must bring a bag lunch/snacks daily.  Sign-up now!  Registration deadline is March 31. Space is limited, so first come, first served.
