"Girls Night Out" at Tom Sykes Rec Center

Charlotte, NC – Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation presents “Girl’s Night Out: Loving Myself” at Tom Sykes Recreation Center, 1501 Euclid Avenue, 8pm Thursday, October 29, 2009 – 5pm Friday, October 30, 2009. This is a special sleep-over program for girls, ages 12-15, held on CMS Teacher Workdays when school is closed.

Girl’s Night Out features games, skits, dancing, girl talk sessions, guest speakers, team-building competitions, manicures, and more. The girls will also take part in empowerment workshops focusing on self-esteem, self-image, and making healthy choices. The program will conclude with a trip to a skating rink.
