Charlotte, NC-- Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department seeks two North Mecklenburg residents interested in parks to serve on the Citizens Advisory Council for the North Park District. This district covers the northern end of Mecklenburg County including Davidson, Cornelius, and most of Huntersville. 

The advisory council will advise the professional staff and the Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Commission on park facilities, planning, operations and services. Terms generally run three years. Appointments are made by the Park and Recreation Commission. Advisory Councils generally meet no more than one evening a month.
