Charlotte, NC-- Women do many great things to make our lives wonderful. Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation invites people of all ages to celebrate the accomplishments of women at “Ladypolooza!” on Saturday March 27,2010, 1pm-4pm, at Little Rock Cultural Art Center (formerly the African American Culture Center) 401 N. Myers St. This event is FREE to and open to the public, for people of all ages.

Ladypalooza will honor three awesome women for their hard work in the community. The event brings together great female artists and performers to celebrate the lives of women. The event features music, dance, visual art, poetry free food and much more. It will also present special guest poets and artists from North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas.
