Charlotte, NC- Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation, in partnership with WPEG Power 98, will hold a “Tech Protect” teen summit at
Naomi Drenan Recreation Center on Thurs., April 14 from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. The FREE summit is designed to teach youth and teens, ages 11-17, how to protect themselves from the dangers of social media sites and how to use these sites to their advantage.
The casual gathering include healthy food and drinks, ice-breaker activities, handouts and fun, followed up by real talk that is age-appropriate, all hosted by WPEG’s morning show team: No Limit Larry, Yasmin, Church Boy and A-dot.
