Charlotte, NC—Arbor Glen Outreach Center will host a FREE Aquafina® Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run Competition for area youth, ages 7-14, on Saturday, March 19, 2011, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., at the Revolution Park softball field, 2425 Barringer Drive.

Pitch, Hit & Run is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball. This grassroots program is designed to provide youngsters an opportunity to compete in an exciting competition that recognizes individual excellence in core baseball/softball skills.

Competitors are divided into four age and gender divisions: 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14. Age is determined as of July 17. Youth have the chance to advance through four levels of competition, including team championships at Major League ballparks and the national finals at the 2011 MLB All-Star Game in Phoenix.

To register for the competition, visit E-Parks. All participants MUST bring a copy of their birth certificate and fill out a registration waiver form prior to the start of the competition. Registration will end at 1 p.m. Saturday.
