Charlotte, NC- Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation, in partnership with U.S. Paralympics, will host a 2011 Paralympic Experience for people with physical and visual disabilities ages 6 - up. The event is Sat., Nov. 12, 2011, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., at Marion Diehl Recreation Center, 2219 Tyvola Road.

This Paralympic Experience will introduce participants to Paralympic sports. Athletes will have hands-on participation in tandem cycling, goalball, archery, swimming, adaptive kayaking and more.
