Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation invites parents with children interested in playing soccer, ages 4-6, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12; or flag football, ages 4-6 and 7-8 to register for the upcoming fall coed recreation season.

Skateboarders across Mecklenburg County are invited to celebrate Go Skateboarding Day at Grayson Skatepark on Thursday, June 21 from noon - 6 p.m.

Upcoming sessions are: June 7, 12 and 14, beginning, at 9:30 a.m., at William R Davie Park, 4635 Pineville-Matthews Road. Cost is $5 per session.
