The name change marks a return for Purina
and Harris Teeter
as the title sponsors for the popular spring festival. This year’s festival will be held at Historic Rural Hill in Huntersville on April 27.
"Harris Teeter and Purina look forward to another successful Bark in the Park festival," said Danna Jones communication specialist for Harris Teeter." Bark in the Park is a fun family event, and the proceeds fund the construction and maintenance of dog parks throughout Mecklenburg County, benefiting both dogs and the people they own."

The 2013 Bark in the Park Top Dog Festival presented by Purina® and Harris Teeter is in its ninth year. The festival was created as a way to raise money for the construction and maintenance of dog parks. Over the years, the event has taken place at William R Davie Park, McAlpine Park, Metrolina Expo and Rural Hill.
