Support the Reedy Creek Nature Center

There are several ways that you can help support the Reedy Creek Nature Center and Go Green in the process!

Recycle old cell phones/ink jet cartridges

One cell phone can pollute up to 132,000 liters of drinking water.  Stop by the Reedy Creek Nature Center and drop off any old cell phones and ink jet cartridges you might have.  The nature center will receive money for each phone/ink jet cartridge donated, so not only are you supporting the nature center, but you are also helping to protect the environment!

Purchase green products

Check out this catalog with all kinds of organic and fair trade products.  Purchase something for your home, yourself, or a gift!  A portion of all sales will benefit special events and eductional programming at the Reedy Creek Nature Center.

After you had viewed the catalog and are ready to make a purchase call the Reedy Creek Nature Center at 704-598-8857.  (checks or cash only must be mailed or dropped off at the nature center)  If you would like to purchase by Visa/MC visit the website directly at www.greenraising.com.  Be sure to put

Reedy Creek Nature Center in the comments section so that we get credit for your order.

Make a donation to the nature center

Come and visit the Reedy Creek Nature Center.  We have live animals, a gift shop, a garden, and an exhibit hall for you to explore.  There is a fun, learning experience for every age!  Feel free to leave a donation in the donation box at the front desk if you enjoyed your experience.
