At Activate! we went from essentially recycling nothing 18 months ago to recycling better than 80% of our office paper, cans, bottles, and cardboard. I feel we can probably achieve 90% this year with a few subtle changes and reminders in the office environment. We have placed the old red recycle bins strategically throughout our office to encourage recycling in common areas such as the mail area and kitchen. Each desk has a recycle bin as well for office paper. Through signage and discussions on what can be recycled, we hope to continue to reduce the amount of trash going into landfills.

We purchase recycled paper towels for our kitchen as well as non-bleached recycled towels for our bathroom. Where possible, we use recycled paper for copiers and use recycled toner cartridges.
