Inspections

Mecklenburg County's Land Use & Environmental Services Agency (LUESA) is responsible for erosion control and inspection. Within LUESA, Storm Water Services, Land Development, and Groundwater Services make up Water & Land Resources. Water & Land Resources' mission is to ensure a clean, livable environment through the protection and enhancement of water and land.

Inspector Areas
Water Quality (WQ) staff within Storm Water Services handles all erosion control inspections, watershed protection, and SWIM buffer regulations.

County Land Development (LD) staff inspects storm drainage, sidewalks, driveway improvements, and subdivision roads.
