LD Inspections

Mecklenburg County's Land Use & Environmental Services Agency (LUESA) is responsible for erosion control and inspection. Water & Land Resources is a division within LUESA. Water & Land Resources includes both Storm Water Services and County Land Development services. Water & Land Resources' mission is to ensure a clean, livable environment through the protection and enhancement of water and land.

Inspector Areas
Water Quality (WQ) staff within Storm Water Services handles all erosion control inspections, watershed protection, and SWIM buffer regulations.

County Land Development (LD) staff inspects storm drainage, sidewalks, driveway improvements, and subdivision roads.
