Food in the form of nutritiously balanced meals are available to both homebound clients and mobile seniors through the Mecklenburg County Senior Citizens Nutrition Program (SCNP). Available programs:


Congregate Meal Program

Home Delivered Meal Program
Nutritionally balanced meals are available at no cost to seniors who are unable to leave their homes due to illness, disability or frailty...learn about qualifying and applying.

Short Term Homebound Meal Program
A short term meal service to help senior adults 60 and over who become temporarily homebound and need meal service for a short period of time (12 week maximum)...learn about qualifying and applying.
