This program provides a liquid nutritional supplement such as Ensure to senior citizens under the care of a physician. Senior citizens who have a medical need receive the product on a monthly basis.

Who Qualifies for this Service?

Mecklenburg County residents, age 60+ who need nutrition supplements because of a medical need. A doctor’s order is required to receive this service.

Note: No income eligibility test is required to qualify for this service. A voluntary donation is requested

How to Apply?

Call Mecklenburg County’s Just 1 Call service (704-432-1111). The call can be made by the client interested in the service or by a family member, caregiver, volunteer or a friend.
