As part of Phase 1 of the County’s “Bringing Mecklenburg County to You” Government Facilities Master Plan, all divisions of the County’s Land Use and Environmental Services Agency (LUESA) specifically, Air Quality, Code Enforcement, Water & Land Resources, GIS, Solid Waste and Support Services will be moving from the current location at the Hal Marshall building (700 N. Tryon St.) to a new location at the former Charlotte School of Law building, 2145 Suttle Ave. effective Dec. 21, 2015.
Limited service will be available to walk-in customers at the Hal Marshall location during the afternoon of Dec. 18.
LUESA offices at the new Suttle Ave. location will be closed to walk-in customers on Dec. 21, 2015. However, online, field (inspections) and call-in services are planned to be available with little to no disruption.
Business Tax Services, Community Support Services (including Veterans Services, Homeless Services and Domestic Violence/Violence Prevention Services) and Environmental Health Services will remain in Hal Marshall and remain open to the public on a normal schedule.
